Edge Computing

Edge  Computing is the recent  buzzword  along with IOT and Cloud Computing.

What Exactly is Edge Computing ?

We can say that Edge computing is a technology used to bring your data closer to  your

local devices meaning  that  bringing computations and data storage closer to the

devices from where it is gathered rather than relyiing on any central server

or repositry or you can say that bringing cloud computing closer to your

IOT devices connected to  the internet.

Does really Edge Computing matters ?

Well according to this question  I would like say Yes. In todays Networking

Scenario where data handling is one of the crucial part  from person

to person, organisation to organisation Edge computing has became

a life saver in terms of faster data transmission .

In recent technological development the Innovation of 5G has tremendously

and meticulously  has put more focus on Edge computing.

It basically simulate and accelerate the creation of real time processing like

Video conferencing, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics , IOT .

5G and Edge Computing:

Edge computing for  5G  Plays an important  role in  building inovations

in different  parts of Information and Communication  Technology.

The 5G standards are designed to  support  millions and millions

of  devices in the same  amount  of  space.

Here we will learn  how  edge  computing  plays  a massive  role  in

telecommunications   computing:

1. Reducing  traffic

2. Maintaining  Quality of  Experience

3. Creating  opportunity  for cloud provides to  host  their  edge  clouds.

4. Improving  the  reliability  of  the  network

In Today's  era  Digital  exposure  to work  has become  very  fast  and one

of  the  technologies  is Edge Computing  which  make  every  computers,

  mobile work  like  a  supercomputer.

In Edge  Computing  data from critical  part  to secondary part are  sent  to

 Cloud  and processed  there.

Edge computing  with  5G provides  not  only  faster  data  transmission

but also  a  future with  near  real  time , back  and  forth  connections.
